Corbis: Account Management

Multi-level Accounts

Corbis circa 2011

These were initial explorations of the evolution for the customer's account management experience. I had actually started working on this a few years back when I was an employee at Corbis, but it was halted because of it's complexity. This was an ambitious feature as it had to take into account the layers of access that would need to work seamlessly.

After evaluating the complexity of the systems and the resources that would be required in conjuncion with the self-reporting tool, the overall project was indefinitely put on hold. It was still an interesting challenge to wrap your mind around.

Personal Account

These were an initial take on the account management UI. The customer needed to see their personal information as well as their Employer's and Client's information as well as manage access to sub-contractors.

Customer with Mulitple Clients

This mini flow demonstrates how a contractor with multiple clients can switch their company context.

Account Manager Access

In addition to the customer's account view, this exploration looked at giving Corbis' account managers proxy access to their customer's accounts to help them manage their clients for special cases like troubuleshooting payment issues or applying special pricing.
